We have all had a great time in a well equipped cottage with great views. Our group ranged from 2 years of age to 70 ish!! Nothing was to much trouble for the owners. The tea and biscuits were a great welcome after a 6 hour journey. See you again soon. Mr and Mrs Clayton (senior)

We had a lovely time at the lodge – with that extraordinary view over the lake we spent lots of time just sitting and looking! And even though february we still made use of teh BBQ!

Although it was pretty quiet (for half term!) the children had a lovely time too and felt like a safe place for them.
We had great weather and discovered some lovely, gentle walks around the lakes.

The lodge too was delightful, everything we needed, clean and bright and such a lovely welcome!

We would certainly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay in the Lakeside Lodge over New Year. Waking up to the frosty scene of the lake and surrounding countryside each day was a real treat, and the lodge itself is second to none that I have stayed in before.

In terms of comfort, our party had plenty of room to sprawl. I was also impressed with the little touches, such as the hotel-style toiletries, and essentials such as coffee, tea and bicuits. The kicthen was stocked with every pan, cup, plate and cooking utensil we could imagine a use for, and there were a number of current-issue magazines and board games for us to use.

In terms of cleanliness, we may as well have been the first visitors to stay there. Everything was pristine, which was a great comfort when taking a small child.

We have already been in touch with Sarah regarding a return visit in the summer months, and look forward to making use of the terrace and BBQ! Thanks for hosting our New Year gathering!

Comment: Hi Sarah We had a great time in Winchcombe, the cottage and village were perfect for our weekend away. We also had some adventures exploring the local villages, which were amazing. It is a beautiful area. The cottage is really lovely, thanks for allowing us to to stay for such a short visit. The kids, especially the girls loved the rooms, had a hard time getting them out of the cottage, to visit the village. Thank you
